We would like to go into a little bit more detail for each of them as we think they’re important factors for you to think about before you get your camera or phone out:
| Functionality | Is each room purposeful? Enough storage space/walls utilised? Rethink and re-align furniture to make rooms look bigger and easy to navigate. |
|---|---|
| Feel | Do the rooms feel clean and atmospheric? Inviting? Uncluttered? Correct lighting used? Have you removed all cleaning products on show? Is any shopping on the sides?
De-personalise each room as much as possible (photos, toys, bins, magnets on fridges, posters on the walls etc.). Open all blinds/curtains and doors to get in as much natural light as possible. |
| Focus | Do you have any statement pieces which create WOW or talking moments? Any favourite areas in the house or the garden? |
| Faith | Religions, customs and traditions whilst reassuring and a way of life for some, can be viewed as divisive to others. Consider if displays of faith are relevant and try to keep your photos neutral. |
